Gradius inspired starfighter
About this creation
COMPLETED -- 11/09/2008
I had to build another Gradius inspired starfighter and wanted to use those strange Bionicle windscreens for a cockpit again so here's the Atlantean.
Yeah, I might have gone overboard arming this but couldn't resist the big gun and missiles.
The pilot has to half lay down but gets to fly a pretty cool ship so he doesn't complain.
There are some serious fragile parts on this but I was able to make most of it really sturdy and swooshing is not out of the question.
Thanks for giving this a look!

Those turbines are amazing, and I like how you built the greebled cannons on the forward wings. This is definitely one of the best MOCs to come out of the Vic Viper craze. Awesome work! |

It kind of reminds me of a hydroplane or an airboat for some reason... something that goes on the water. |

Nate Bush, the trans bars between the engines are supposed to be some kind of energy of some sort passing between them in a cycle... Sorry for the mediocre description but the science behind my MOCs is very vague :D |

Awesome ship. I never would have thought to use those pieces for a canopy. The asymmetry is cool, with the missiles on one side and the antenna on the other. What's up with the trans-neon green pieces behind the canopy? Is that like the reactor core or something? It looks pretty cool, but I just don't know what it's supposed to be. |
