Abdul Ibn Abrahim is a traveling Arab scholar. He finances his travels by peddling his homeopathic remedies. He has traveled all over Europe, the near east and India (where he acquired an elephant). He is a curious man and is a good source of information about almost any subject. He is a skilled healer and shows no discrimination against any that he treats. He does however charge nobles much more than he does their serfs. Most times he treats the poor free of charge. His servant Ali is a mute, at least no one has heard him speak. He is also a rather wise person, and has devoted his life to Abdul in order to broaden his mind.
Now they have arrived at a market and set up shop. They bought the hay from a local merchant, but everything else was carried on the elephant. Their stall conforms to the Medieval Market Standards(www.ozbricks.net/medievalmarket). However, Abdul does often have to pay for a second shop location, due to his desire to have the elephant close at hand.
