MOCtag #19
MOCtag is still alive!
About this creation
Now before you go scrolling right past the whole page without even looking at it just to see who I tagged, it’s Uspez Morbo. Anyways, in case you don’t know what MOCtag is, go here. The previous entry, MOCtag #18 by Joe Haddad, can be found here.

When Cluck Beaker took Jessie to his HQ, the “Awesome”-class mobile command center (stationed at a location with totally flat gray terrain and a white sky because I was too lazy to do a proper landscape), he removed his face-obscuring chicken helmet and revealed that he had been sent by the general of a powerful army that intended to reverse-engineer her unique ability and use it as a weapon.

However, before they could take her to get a brain scan, they discovered that she had been carrying strange fish bait that makes people’s heads explode when they look at it, and that she had been paid by a group of space-aliens to plant it in the tackle boxes of celebrities in a twisted plot to assassinate them.

Jessie never had the ability to make people’s heads explode on her own, and when she was in the holding cell before being taken to the army’s command center, she used this fish bait on one of the guards in an attempt to escape.

After massacring everyone around the command center with the weird fish bait, Jessie used her cell-phone to contact an alien spaceship, which beamed her up to take her to their planet to assign her a new mission.

Afterword:

The “Awesome”-class mobile command center is supposed to be the main focus of this whole thing, so I’ll put some extra pictures of it here along with some MOCtag-related commentary.

I kind of have to agree with Shannon about the four lines rule. At first I thought it was pointless, but then I realized that if every MOCtag installment had a whole lot of writing, it would be easier to lose track of the storyline (which can get pretty confusing anyway). I don’t know about you, but I had no idea what was going on for a while.

The “Awesome”-class can fit 16 troops inside of its main deployment area.

I’d like to thank the people who tagged me. Obviously, that would be Joe, but Shannon Ocean and LegoLord both wanted to tag me earlier. I couldn’t do it then because I was away from my Legos visiting my family in Michigan.

The rear hatch opens to deploy a scout speeder. I had to hold it up with that clear piece because it wouldn’t stay open by itself.

There’s a magnet on the back of the speeder that attaches to one inside of the “Awesome”-class to hold it in.

Like I said, I regret not adding any background scenery or vegetation to this MOCtag, but building the “Awesome”-class took most of my time. Although I did have a little more time to post this (it’s still the 10th where I live and my deadline is the 14th), I didn’t want to make it take too long. Besides, you can use your imagination and pretend it’s in the jungle or something.

The maintenance access panel on the bottom opens to reveal greebling.

Actually, it’s not real greebling, but just a bunch of printed pieces.

This is the actual command center of it, from which the general gives orders.

I have 29 soldiers in my army: 16 in the main area of the “Awesome”-class, 4 inside the command center (not including the general), 2 hanging onto the ladders on the outside of it, 1 on the scout speeder, and another 6 that wouldn’t fit inside of it. Underneath their black visors, each one has an individual face.

It's the cannon.

In one of the pictures, you may have noticed a crashed fighter (apparently the pilot saw the fish bait from the air). Well, here it is intact. Yes, I know this is a really bad picture.

Another view of the fighter.

In MOCtag #17, Shannon used tan (blond) hair for Jessie, but in #18, Joe used orange hair. I didn’t know which one to pick, so I decided to just give her red hair. I guess it will be a running joke that her hair color changes between every episode.

I didn't plan it that way, but look at how it cuts off the description right after the word "anyways". Perfect!

Why did these space-aliens send Jessie on a mission to kill celebrities with fish bait? What will happen when she gets to their planet? What color will her ponytail be? Only Uspez Morbo can tell us...

Quoting J0N0TR0N1C SYSTEMS Hate to be a grammar cop, but did you know "anyways" is not really a word? People started saying that somewhere in the 90's and it kind caught on. Maybe so much so that it is actually legit now... but i digress. sorry. Great MOC(s)!
What??? But I use that word all the time and I'm a grammar cop, too! Don't apologize for pointing that out, I appreciate it. I grew up during the 90s (I don't think an apostrophe is necessary there, by the way), so excuse me for that. Thanks again.

Not really following MOCtag, but the "awesome"-class Mobile Command Center is really creative. I didn't really understand the scale of it until I saw the area where the general give orders. Hate to be a grammar cop, but did you know "anyways" is not really a word? People started saying that somewhere in the 90's and it kind caught on. Maybe so much so that it is actually legit now... but i digress. sorry. Great MOC(s)!

I posted my last 2 comments on the religion page. Oh and you did find the hole. It's a 2 way thing though. PS: Did you see my 4th dimension theory featured on my AC Unit Procrastinator page?

3 things: (#1.) Great job on this MOC. I like the oldschool feel to it. (#2.) I have finally posted my newest MOC: The Procrastinator! (#3.) You asked for me to show you an arguement, so I typed the best I could while still being able to keep my patience. Check my 3 newest comments on the religion page. Hint: I intentionally left a little hole in my arguement to see if you might catch it to use against me. Problem is, If you catch it, I can also throw it back at you. It's the kind of thing that counters itself, so use it if you need to, for I can also re-use it.

Moctag is a game of tag in which Shannon Ocean (a very good builder) made on this website and he tagged someone to make a little stoyline to fit in with his first episode of the story as a lego creation. After that person made it, he tagged someone else, and etc... Anyway, this is Moctag #19

Well thank you everyone for your nice comments. I was hoping to revive MOCtag to its former popularity, and I'm happy it was at least a partial success. And what an honor to have been blessed by the Lord of MOCtag!

One of my favorite MOCtag, really the one which includes the most awesome Space vehicles ! The big one is really beautiful, and the little UFO too. I like the story, reminds me of a Japanese animation serie called "Helfen Lied". Great work, you put time in it, no doubt, and the result is excellent.

Ah the old fish bait trick-it was so obvious ;D Yeah, with 4 lines you've rescued moctag Nate; well done. Awesome-class MCC ftw! Cool build, heaps of details. I know the limitations of a mediocre sized collection and the limits it imposes-don't sweat the background thing-people wanna see the characters and vehicles in the story foremost. Onto you Uspez!

"Awesome" class MOCtag Nate! The background is bleak but what's on it is excellent. I've been eagerly anticipating seeing this and it's great how you've twisted up the story. I was hoping the chicken head was gonna just be a helmet, nice. Those guys deserved getting their heads blown off but seriously I have no idea where to take the story but I'll try my best of course!
