About this creation
This is built for the CCCVI. Only 3 photos are allowed, and thank goodness. That means I only have to edit 3 photos.
Originally had a different type of castle in mind (Think Steve Decraemer), but somehow ended up with this Frankenstein looking thing.
I especially like the way the back wall turned out. Anyways, this was built over a period of 3-4 days.

3-4 DAYS! What did you do lock yourself in your lego room with crate of twinkies? (of course you did, why do I ask these silly questions?) Still that's rediculas! But I must say it came out nice, I think you should've put a few small plants growing off those rock though. (See Prof. if you had put some small plants growing off the rocks I could go away 100% happy but now I'm going to have to settle for 99.8% why must you do these things?) |

Id really like to see some more populated castle or buildings.
Like a boat down in the water and some soliders scattered around.
Just a thought |

"Run you swans! Frankenstein's monster is loose!" Great MOC. Just something you wanna look at cause' you like the way it looks in every way. I like the back, I'm pretty bad at that.

*elbowing through the worshipful masses* It seems kind of sparse -- a lot of bare rock, bare wall. Especially for a CCC entry, I mean castle mavens lay in the weeds all year just to spring on an astonished public the most detailed, elaborate MOCs they can muster for that contest. Don't get me wrong, this is of course a better than average castle MOC. I think the trouble is you've already set the bar so high for yourself that this one just doesn't "pop" like I expect an Eggplant creation to. PS - three or four days? I hate you. I couldn't build something like that if I had three or four weeks! |

Exceptional! I can't believe how big it is. Hope ya win! Do you think you could give me some tips on making rock faces out of dark bley slopes? I just wonder if there's some trick behind it that makes it easier than it looks. |

Well I could say tons of things - all of them good - but I'll keep it short. I really like the indented and domed window sill things, the roofs are nice, the ducks are cute, the water is great, the tree is amazing, and the rocks are sweet...though I think they could use some more smooth tiles. =) One of my favorite parts is that brick style wall by the girl; very cool. Also, I think you did a really nice job giving the whole thing a smooth look without overdoing it on the tiles. Great job on everything! Too bad there couldn't be more than three pictures, I want some interior!! ...See? Didn't I say I'd keep it short? =) |

Love the whole island thing that you've got going on. Wouldn't mind seeing a few detail shots when you get around to it, though. I mean three pics is all ya give us? You're killin' me, Prof! Oh well, still looking pretty sweet from all the way back here! |
