Double barrel paper wasp gun. Single trigger. 2 fire modes: semi-auto and two at the same time.
About this creation
This gun is the direct successor to my Lego paper wasp gun. It shoots paper wasp, a.k.a hornet(thank to Royal Elite Sith Assassin for the information), buzzer, pellet, paper V, paper U, paper dart, etc. The wasps can be launched in 2 modes: semi-auto, that is one after each trigger pull or "twin shot"- all two with just one pull of the trigger. The fire mode is determined by how hard the trigger is pulled.
This is the right side of the gun. Basically it is my old Lego paper wasp gun
This is the left side. The right side and the left side share one part of their body, so the gun is only 7 studs wide.
The gun viewed from behind. As you can see, there is no sight, but I designed the gun to be fired as relatively close range, so it doesn't really matter.
And I think classmates are rather big targets anyway :D
This is the key to the gun's successful operation. One slight pull of the trigger is not enough to raise the ratchet on this side, but already enough to raise the ratchet on the other side (see my Lego paper wasp gun for more information on the right side ratchet) When you pull the trigger really hard, both ratchets will be raised and both wasps will fire at once.
Just a picture to clearly show the trigger.
This is the (optional) ammo holder. I know is ugly, but it's effective, and "Priority to performance" is my Lego motto.
The main pic again. The shape of the grip makes holding the gun quite easy and pleasant. You can see the ammo holders too.
Here is the video, kept "raw" for truth's sake.
So, feel free to comment. And PLEASE, if you decide to rate low, PLEASE COMMENT so I can know my mistakes.
I like the mech. I made my own and it works kinda good but i think any problems with the gun is probably my fualt. also found out that if you stack the hornets together it makes a shotgun effect to make the gun more realistic.
Okay, I actually built this gun a while back, but I was sick and once I recovered I had a week long trip to go on. Since this was my first break since I got back I took pics and uploaded them. You can see my version here:

Ah, thanks for the explaination, I understand it completely now bewteen you and the pictures. Once I take pictures of my normal one I will rebuild it as the double barreled version and give some feedback.
Phew, I thought I didn't get it clear enough. Pls tell me when you uploaded the gun. If you still have any question, feel free to ask!

That is a very clever way to make it fire in two modes with only one trigger and no switch! Could you make instructions for this? You would only need to explain half of it since you built it on your other gun. In the meantime I will see if I can figure it out just by the pictures. -Freela
It's pretty simple. The ratchet on one side, in this gun the left side, is placed at a higher position compared to the ratchet on the right side. The ratchet on the right connects directly to the trigger like my Paper wasp gun, but the one on the left is activated indirectly by a cam (in this case the egg-like piece) linked to the trigger. So when you pull the trigger lightly, only the bullet on the right would go, but if you pull it hard, then the one on the left would go too. If this isn't enough, pls tell and I'll make an instruction. I suggest watching the video and pictures carefully.

One IMPORTANT suggestion, guys, if you are to build this gun. It's a BADDDD IDEA to put the foregrip ( that yellow beam under the gun) on a side different to the trigger's. The force of the rubberband, with time, can actually bend the yellow angled-beam piece. I've just dismantled the gun today and noticed that. ( Can't wait until the end of the semester exams, I have plan for a pump-action Lego paper wasp gun already)
Sweetness! When I saw "raw" over the video, I thought you shot someone who started cursing. :) I think I may have to build one after building another pistol.

It seems to work quite well, but it's really ugly.
