This is the much improved version of my original Bridge Builder (see here).
The Mk. II is capable of fully automatic deployment and retrieval of its own bridge - no more human intervention!
This Mindstorms robot uses a light sensor to detect a hole in the ground, and deploys its own bridge to cross the gap. Drive unit is based off of the differential drive shown at the end of the RIS 2.0 manual. The robot also includes a bump sensor on the front.
