Garnet Y.98 Atmospheric Interceptor
an atmospheric fighter
About this creation

The Garnet is a fairly old aircraft model. Despite its age, the Garnet still is a formidable opponent, even up against newer craft.

It was the very first short-range fighter to utilize a new type of engine that allowed for unprecedented speed and maneuverability that, to this day has been matched by only a few manufacturers.

The Garnet is equipped with two .50 Caliber high-velocity coil guns and two Terry T-09 light energy disruptors.

What a great little fighter! The design is really solid, everything just looks right. Congrats on using the engine scoop pieces in a way that I actually approve of (usually I hate those!).

That's really cool. I like how you integrated the yellow. Who cares if it isn't that streamlined, maybe its from a cloud city or a low-gravity planet. Nice work! Peace - Patrick

Shouldn't it be a bit more streamlined if it is for atmospheric combat? That thin has the aerodynamics of a brick.
