A converted tow truck, often used in pairs to soften an enemy town before raiding or just harass unfriendlies. No armour used here as it is a stand-off weapon. No windscreen as glass is a rarity and used primarily to repair homes and dwellings.
Note: Not to be used on zombies; I want my post apoc vehicles used on real people. Got nothing against zombies as such, I'm just going for a real world scenario. A feudal future of town vs town, ordinary people arming themselves against rival cities and nomadic bandits.
I want my post apoc stuff to feel tangible and legit, as if society crumbled tommorrow these mgiht be some of the vehicles you'd see: modified existing cars and trucks. And just to make a distinction between this style of post-apoc and the more futuristic stuff like mechs and super tanks (see legohaulic). Again, I'm not saying I dislike that style, I think it f**king rocks but I'm just going for a different feel here, a world of patched up, rusty, homemade weapons and people banding together trying to survive.
The overall design is great and the concept rocks. For some reason, the little gas tank on the side drew my attention. Good detail there. Then of course, the bed of the truck actually works! Nice addition. And of course... the Bart sticker. It's all in the details my friend... all in the details. ~ Chris.
Hmm looks like I got you out of your NoVVember fetish, Anyways this looks awesome! & yeah I to wanted to build my Vette as you said as sort-of nomadic car & nice Simpson's Sticker on the side! & yeah I also read why you have it on there :D
Well, it's nice. It's pretty clean. It looks like that is a portable rocket-platform (I'm not sure if that was what you were going for). I just think it looks a bit plain. It needs some rust greebs in the back or something. Sorry, Shanno, but it does lack a bit. I do like the Bart sticker, though.
