When aliens live in the sewer...
About this creation
This was really my first vig. I did not post it first, because I needed to photo shop the pics, and my other vigs were just easier to post first. So, I hope you enjoy.
 Plumber Joe (he's Joe Vig's cousin) was sent down to the sewer under the streets. They have been having some suspicious blockage, and he was sent to check it out.
 When he got there, he saw something that did not look natural. It was some sort of goo-net, blocking the sewage.
 He looked up, and saw a hole in the roof. He heard screaming, and something green and big moving...
 The creature, hatched and living in the sewage for months growing, ran through the streets, terrorizing innocent civilians, looking for a good meal!
Now time for some after-story shots.
 The shot with everybody. I am very happy with my alien. Legs with hands in the hips work great for any kind of joint!
 Just look at those greebs! They are suppose to be the rubble from when the alien smashed through the road. I love minifig parts...
 This shot was my sister's idea. I like it. We cut up a piece of a green 2-liter ginger-ale bottle, and put it over a flashlight. It turned out nice.
So, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did making it. I plan to add some more pics later on. I have some good shots, but they need to be whited out, and that takes time. Please comment, remember that it is all in the details, and happy MOCing!

Reply to Captain Jim of the Red Corsair That was sort of what I was going for... It was one of those in-the-back-of-your-head type things. But, looking back, it really does.
Reply to John Moffat Yep, this thing is super articulated. I was very impressed with it when I made it. However, if anybody wants to use this technique, if you just slap them on at a 90 degree angle, it looks odd (fine for this, but if you want something more realistic...). However, if they attach at an angle, it looks much better, more like arms. I do not have this piece, but from what I have seen, the General Grievous torso seems like the perfect angle for this. Feel free to try it out anybody!

Yeah, the sewers around my house usually get that blockage thing going on right after the holidays.... but that's a whole different story. Nice work Bane! ~ Chris. |
