About this creation
Time for yet another Castle Masters. Most of these I'm pulling from the Classic-Castle forums and or CCCVI contest. For the previous castle masters, I was mainly going from Bricklink, MOCpages, and Misc webpages. For those who don't know what CCCVI is Here is a Link
The thing that I've come to appreciate about the Classic-Castle group is all of the little techniques & details that make the builds interesting. These guys usually leave me thinking, wow, how'd they do that.
Johanvande - This castle is his first and it is still technically "in progress". Very nice though. Link
Radegast - Another First timer, and likewise "in progress". Very nice again Link
Sly Owl Check out the flipper roof used on some of his other MOCs. Great innovator of new techniques and details. Link
Jojo has some nice castles as well as smaller castle life type things. Link
MtTS is Making a splash at this years CCCVI. Link
kris kelvin of LugPol Link
Liwnik - Note: Combination of old and new grey. Not sure if I like this combo or not, but makes for an interesting talking point. Link
Peppermint Pig, brother of Stone Goblin? Stone Goblin in disquise? Link
Chadzicz Falcon’s Keep. I used this as a reference when building Castle Frankenstein. Link
Ognome's Haidos castle Link
Alien Cat, Hammerfell Castle Link
Obscurance, Forest of Hippogriff. There are some good castles in here as well, I just happened to pick a vinette. Link
Tiberium_Blue . He gets extra credit for including Instructions for smooth wall technique! DNL posted something on this a few weeks back and I wasn't able to figure it out. Thank you Tiberium for doing the dirty work. Link
Crimson Wolf rounds out this pack of builders. Link
And if you missed it, here is a link to Castle Masters #3

"My technique was actually totally different"
I thought it looked a bit different, but still was confused. If you don't mind I would really appreciate seeing what you did. Usually I can figure it out, but you must have been extra clever. |

My technique was actually totally different from the one tiberium used. I used panels in combination with normal walls, but tiberium uses SNOT walls with tiles. I con post instuctions if you would like, but it is actually a quite simple technique.

Thanks for posting these. Castle is my favorite theme with Lego and these are all really great. It's awesome to see all these different styles and learn from them. Keep up the great posts! |

I actually spent to most time looking at the tree pics to help with my current project. I still need lots of help with that... I noticed you still haven't added yourself to these lists? Bad Eggy, Bad Eggy. ~ Chris. |
