A spider/centipede hybrid train.
About this creation
Inspired by Ben Fleskes' Insectoid train, the Arachnipede is very popular at train shows. At 16 studs wide, it usually needs its own loop, which is just as well, since most other trains don't care to wiggle back and forth so much. Although you can't tell from the photos, the eyes light up at high speeds.
I originally called this a centipede, but at train shows, people consistantly (and inexplicably) call out, "Hey, look at the spider!" So I have given up trying to correct them, and have incorporated both species into the name (which, I have to admit, is much cooler now).
