About this creation

Here it is, folks, my representation of the Broadside Battlesuit from the tabletop game Warhammer 40000. I've been toying with this idea for a while, and on Thanksgiving I had finally enough spare time to undertake this project.

The XV88 Broadside Battlesuit are the most heavily armed of the Tau ground troops. The pilots of such suits are required to engage and destroy heavily armoured targets with their extremely powerful weapons. Most Broadsides are armed with a twin-linked rail gun and smart missile system.

Check out that detailed chest armour, it matches the real Broadside quite nicely.

Here it is with the Guns and smart missiles poised in attack position. In the tabletop game, Broadsides can fire nearly 5 feet across the battlefield, according to my brother, who uses them effectively during the game.

I like this shot. Note the unevenly lengthed antennae.

Here are the smart missile pods and the shoulders. The shoulders came out a bit large, but the still look pretty good.

Quoting taylor sloat They are not called shas'ui. That's a rank. If you had a codex, you'll notice that some fire warriors, stealthsuits, and Crisis Suits are called Shas'ui.

excellent, only one problem. broadside battle suits, as desognated in the codex travel in squads of three but insainly accurate model

Quoting Knoll grey five feet...um, i think you are getting ripped off. unless you are customizing the rules to suit an abnomally large map i.e 20 ft or so. are there any other tau in the works?

No Tau planned, but I have some Imperial Guard-inspired creations planned.

No no, for the Emperor! May the forces of the Emperor of Mankind always claim victory and their foes crushing defeat! Space Marines (Black Templars) for life! Anyways this looks almost exactly like the real thing, the only advice that can be given has already been said. Great work! If ya got a sec I appreciate comments and ratings on my stuff, thanks :).

Cool! This is really good. May i say that u should maybe make the legs a tiny bit longer and more spread out. But otherwise its very good. Plz check out my space marine land raider :)
