This is the Motor Vessel 'Hermione'. She has just been in for her annual drydocking and refit; and has been refitted with a completely new superstructure as well as new falls for her lifeboat and some other minor alterations.
The Hermione is my rebuild of the 10152 Maersk Sealand using only parts that came with that set (though the containers and their pallettes are on another ship). For this rebuild I did use a few (four) non-inclusive parts and she has the same non-10152 cargo as the last version. I reduced the superstructure in height, as well as changing the overall shape, I re-designed the falls and added a couple more features which make it more accurate like a real ship. The hull is pretty much in the original 10152 form except where I had to alter it to shift the superstructure aft. Therefore she still has the wrong hull-form aft but I don't have the parts to change that (in the set or at all; Maersk blue and dark red are not the commmonest of colours).
I really like this model. The colours are good and there is alot of detail, such as the lifeboat at the back. Will be interested what other ships you will build now!
