If it didn't have all the gaps, it'd be like Sheepo's! (Sheepo made a Technic Veyron)
Sheepo made it perfect, but this one was finished a year earlier - at the time it was definitely the first and only veyron...it's also smaller at 1:10 instead of 1:8. There's less space in there to pack in all the features :) |

To everybody who's asked for instructions - thank you, I'm flattered. However, there's just no way I can provide them because a) I did not make any notes during building; b) I've got no idea how to produce them in the first place and c) the model has long been turned into something else. Sorry! |

Excellent job!! Do you have experience with differentials, gear boxes, etc. because I am wondering how to plan out designing my first vehicle? How did you go about planning the dimensions of the Veyron? It is so close to the original! When do you plan on creating an updated version of the Veyron with the items you were not able to include in this version (i.e. steering linkage, working transmission)? Could you post a You Tube video or a series of pictures demonstrating how you created the Veyron? Well, I have many more questions to ask, might I be able to email you? Please let me know. Once again, great job...your creation has inspired so many to try their hand at making a masterpiece! - Motown Technic (rvkusa4@hotmail.com)
This car doesn't exist anymore. It's now a Ferrari 250 GTO, which does have a working gearbox. The only fixed component when it comes to dimensions are the wheels - lay out your wheels first and then that should tell you how big the wheelbase is etc and how the frame has to fit around that. The rest is just figuring out proportions. Too late for the video or pictures, it's been built and gone! Also the car DID have a working steering linkage.
Good luck! |

The patent fraud. About the Fiat hybrids, the technology double clutch with electric motor between has been stolen by a patent that Fiat Company has never wanted to purchase, but only shamelessly to copy. I invite to visit my blog where her "vitality" and boldness of the Fiat planners it appears in all of evidence: http://dualsymbioticelectromechanicalengine.blogspot.com/
If the industries can afford unpunished to copy the ideas and defending it need very expensive trial, to which target need the patents? How our young people can find intellectual courage if the economic potentates crush the rights of the single ones? How to defend the rights of private inventors? Whoever is about to ask for a patent or wants to propose a proper patent to a great firm I suggest to give a look to my experience with the Fiat, to get able to operate with best adroitness. Thanks and good time to everybody. Ulisse Di Bartolomei

I think what they mean by W16 is that you take 2 v8s and cross them sorta like his: vv w, if the middle of the w keeps on going until the outside of the w but not as far as the Volkswagen logo. P.S. VW owns Bugatti, Fiat owns Ferrari, Ford owned(past tense 4 a reason)Aston-Martin, VW owns Audi which owns Lamborghini, and not sure about Maserati.
The real car shares a common crank so the Vs meet at the lower point. Obviously can't do that with lego, so I joined two Vs at the crank ends (two cranks instead of one).

Would love to, but the Veyron has now turned into the 250 GTO :P I wish I could buy those sets too so I don't have to keep breaking down my cars - unfortunately I can't get them either! |

I would love to build it myself and wondered if u do the build instructions? Time consuming i know. I am no good at creating my own stuff, though i think i might be inspired now! Your Ferrari model is another stunning creation and would sit well with all of the official Ferrari models I have now! More shelves needed!!
