The Inheritance Cycle
Hey, Jordan does it...
About this creation
These are minifigs from the series of books written by Chris Paolini. (I hope I spelled that right)

The first book and by far the best: Eragon
Follows Eragon. How'd you guess? Pictured is Brom, Arya, and Eragon.

The second book: Eldest
Follows both Eragon and his cousin Roran and continues the story of Murtagh, who is pictured here.

The third book: Brisingr
Follows Eragon and Roran together. Pictured is Roran, Carn, and a random dude.

This vig is from a scene in Brisingr where the captain gets his hand chopped off. Pretty self explanatory. =)

I've had these pictures sitting in my folder for a while but I never posted them, so while I'm building my next MOC, you can look at some minifigs. Savy?

I just Finished Eragon and I am now a little more than halfway through Eldest. I agree with you JD about the writing being very high quality and I do love the way they are written. Anyway The Inheritance Cycle and the Star Wars Saga do have many similarites and a lot of differences. Such as the Dragon Riders and the Jedi being betrayed by one of their own, and the sons of a fallen Rider and Jedi. Become one and Resist the Empire. Anyway I really like the Inheritance Cycle and I really like Star Wars. They Both have their similarites and they both have their differences. I just don't see why you guys are making such a big deal about it.

Quoting Daniel Roth ...the series is completely its own story.
Thank you, Daniel.

Quoting Lord Lego 436 Wow! You actually see it! Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr were the worst books I've ever read! Eragon was 'Star Wars 4', Eldest was 'Star Wars 5', and Brisingr didn't HAVE a plot! Nice figs, though.
Though I agree Brisingr could have had more of an overal storyline, I would much rather read a fantasy book that isn't all the way original than watch a bunch of movies that went downhill after the first one and isn't vacant of plot holes itself. Ol' George ripped of most of stinkin' HISTORY! There isn't much you can do about that; there has always been masters and learners. And while I'm writing this long winded comment, I might as well note that the writing quality in Eragon is brilliant. I'm not sure if you guys write as much as I do, but I know high quality writing when I see it. Why not read it for what it is? Star Wars isn't the whole world as most of MOCpages seems to think.

the books are not a ripoff of star wars, the books are completely different in plot and age, star wars was way in the future and eragon was way in the past, besides, the books were well written and extremely entertaining. Besides, even if they are a ripoff who can blame him, the star wars saga was compeltely awefull. So the series is completely its own story. The characters are well portrayed in lego, excpet i'd like to see a durza.

Eragon is great! I just finished the third book! Actually I'm not a fan of posting only minifigs(there are just too many), but these are fantastic! What about giving Roran a hammer? Merry Christmas!

OI!, just ignore Josh, to actuality, The Movies "Star Wars" were in fact plagiarized from a Book called "Star Warriors" which was written 10 years before the First star wars movie. Nice Characters By the way. ~Martin

These are neat, my only complaint is that you didn't give us much of an explanation to the forest scene, we who haven't read the books might like one.
