This is a moon or planetary outpost. It is small, and holds a bunch of guys, and generates its own air. The interior is very detailed (in my opinion) for an outpost.
About this creation
Here is a veiw of one of the turbine generator thingies that creates air. Below it are some pipes, my attempt at 'clean greebling'.
This is what powers the outpost; a satellite thing. It gathers heat energy and powers the generators (somehow).
I spent some time on the entryway, so this is how it works. The guy walks down the path after some scouting mission )or maybe mining if this was used for miners), and approaches the door.
It opens and he steps into the small airlock.
The next sliding door opens after the first closes, and he is in!
When the top is removed, it reveals my interior (obviously).
Five beds that look very comfortable, and could have been bunks due to my ingenious (sort or) design if the roof was higher. As you can see, I rather like my beds. They can put their stuff next to them on the gray thing, and a ladder leads downstairs.
This layer also comes off, and shows the ground level.
Here are two computers and a bench. The room is also filled with windows for a better veiw of the emptyness surrounding them.
An engineer and a soldier are sitting on the bench around everyone's equopment.
The sniper/assassin is at a computer. Is he using sadelites to survey the surrounding land? E-mailing his family? Looking at Legos on MOCpages?
Another shot of my laptop design. I like it more than the beds. The controls work perfectly as laptop controls, and the screen looks pretty accurate.
Well, that's my outpost. Not much in the ways of weapons, but I guess it would be better as a mining outpost. Still, I like the different layers and the exterior.
This is a great MOC! And you're right, this would look good as a Whitetron base. And you're also right that the Whitetron story is kindof disjointed and hard to follow right now. I plan on making a MOC that puts all the story we have so far together in the right order.
