About this creation

As a native-Rhode Islander, I thought building this infamous scene, one that would lead to the Revolutionary War, would be fun. This is one of those MOCs that I've been meaning to make for a very long time. For those not in the know, read up on this here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaspee_Affair

I'm just coming out of a dark age and this is the kind of thing I need to see to keep me on that trajectory! Another beautiful ship.

Like I said on my comment for "Thar She Blows!" I'm a sucker for pirates. This fits the image, doesn't it? Very nice!

This is a truly wonderful ship! I even picked it out of all the LEGO sailing ship MOCs on the web as one of the dozen best!! Really, see this thread http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=23991 Please join "The Age of Sail" group, I sent a invite, and add this ship!! Thanks again for you excellent work on this vessel! kurt

Very impressive work. The details are really nice. I never noticed if anyone ever actually added a rudder to a ship before? Gonna have to check that out. Great build over all. ~Chris.

HOLY WOW! Now this deserves a 5/5 from me without a doubt!!! Make more things like this rather then those figures.

Very nice! I like the little details where you can tie ropes on... what are they called? Either way, they look good, as does this MOC as a whole. Great work.

Very impressive. As I'm quarter Swedish, I'd recommend you try building the medieval Swedish flagship, Vasa. Good day

Very Cool, I've always liked when I see historical MOCs. This is no exception, the ship is massive. Great MOC.

You know what's really strange is that I just watched Pirates of the Caribbean right as LEGO announced that they were releasing pirate stuff. Pirates...Oh, and great job on the ship!
