T4000X Urban Assault
T4000X Concept: RWD, V8 sunpercharge engine, 6Sp Gearbox, 2+2 Cab
About this creation
(Sorry for my English) I made this one during Winter Break. Basicly, I got bored of the look of the Off Roader 8297. I triped it down (almost everything) but kept the chasis and suspension system. I put in a new steering system, 6 speed Transmission, Electric motor, Working Head light and tail light, new interior, Moon roof, built-in tool box and sicker look. here is some picture:

Front view (you can see the Blower and head light)

Left side view

Rear view (Trunk and the Built-in tool box underneath the trunk)

Trunk and tool box open

Right side view (exhaust pipe)

Doors open (2+2 Cab)

Under the hood (V8 engine + Blower)

Top view (doors open)

Nice truck. that H gate you asked about comes with two sets that I know of. The 8448 super car, and the 8466 extreme offroader. here is a link to bricklink with that part ttp://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?itemID=1554&colorID=9

Quoting Matthew and Brett Harned s is by far the best technic truck on the site that I have seen. The seats are awesome. Thanks for commenting on our hummer. -brett-

Quoting Nathaniel Vendt wish i had a real one of those! haha, i think the colot sceme could be a little better, but other than that, it looks pretty stable(does it have suspention?), and over all, a well made 4x4
about the scheme color, I ran out of part acutally. thats why i have to use stripe color scheme. the suspension was mounted at a better angle and steadier than the Lego original Offroader (it works better too). Finally, I wish I have the parts to make a 4x4, it was just a RWD. im still waiting for lego to come out another set that have most of the part i want

the suspension system was actually a tunned version of the Off Roader. The original one wasn't tought enough and it was mounted on an odd angle ==> I modifided it so it can work better

Wow, looks great! I'm not too crazy about the red and grey stripes, but the overall design is great. Nice work on the suspension and gearbox too! Peace - Patrick
