About this creation

My Version is the Brazilian navy one
The Westland Lynx is a British helicopter designed by Westland and built at Westland's factory in Yeovil. Originally intended as a utility craft for both civil and naval usage, military interest led to the development of both battlefield and naval variants, which went into operational usage in 1977 and were later adopted by the armed forces of over a dozen nations, where it primarily serves in the battlefield utility, search and rescue and anti-submarine warfare rôles. The helicopter is now produced and marketed by AgustaWestland.

Quoting Steffen Kasteleiner
Thanks for the really nice comment on my cargo planes! I am happy to hear that my jets have been an inspiration for you to build your own one! I´m actually really curious about your upcoming one now. And there aren´t too many builders out there who have built one or who like to build that type of aircraft... So I´m happy to get some more company:) 10 stud-wide fuselage sounds good - and is necessary to make bigger vehicles fit in it. Of course, you can name your plane however you want. Though I have to say that I'm currently building on my C-3M, a giant, even much bigger cargo aircraft - a military one. The "KAAI" I made up stands for "Kasteleiner Aircraft & Aerospace Industries", by the way. So I guess your plane is rather gonna be a Republic Vaiano model, right? My current WIP, if you´re interested, will have a 16-studs-wide fuselage and a 10 or 12-wide cargo hold (the floor).I t currently is ca. 114 studs long and might get prolonged to about 120 studs (because of the tail construction yet to be finally designed and a potential slight lengthening of the cargo hold); the wingspan measures 124 studs so far... Nose and cockpit are designed and ready, too. For the tail section, I´m tending towards a double side rudder similar to the one of an Antonov An-225 - an if not that, then I´ll give it another T-tail. Just to make you curious... Thanks again for the great comment! Best regards, Steffen
Why you gotta be so evil? I must see that plane done!!!! Allright, I can name it C- other number. My industrie will be VAe (Vaiano Aerospace). I´m sending you by e-mail some pics of it. It´s more than half way done, but it´s still wip. Bruno |

Hey Bruno, this is my favorite one of all your choppers. The cockpit design is really nice, especially with the upper extra windows which increase the sight. Nose and body look good, too. I´m with David concerning the smoothness abouve the windscreen, but other than that, a very nice model! |

This looks pretty good Bruno. I actually thought i of building a Linx but i never got around to it....oh well. Yours is really nice though. The only thing i would ty to do is to maybe smooth it out a little bit above the wind screen other then that its good....also i like the controls in the cockpit-----David |
