The Greeble
The Greeble: a space racer Technic-figure-scale. My personal excercise in size and greebling...
About this creation

The front.

The side.

I'm planning on making a Cyborg-Pittstop-ship. This Greeble Racer is a thing I wanted to do to try some new angles, some experimental greebling, but most of all on how big I can go on my supplies. I'm still not at the end of my reserve and I've got a pretty good idea of what I'm going to do.

The back of the racer.

The cockpit of The Greeble.

The back section opens up to show the turbines and engines.

I made "the Greeble" chassis and ship first and added greebling here and there only at the end. Next time (for a mark II) I'll start with a central greebling and build the ship around it.

The front section of the racer can open up to reveal lots of greebles, greebles, greebles!

The greebling on the front section.

I know, I know, the technic fig; right? I just feel that enginesgreebling gets a better credibility this way then with minifigs!
Okay, Kelso's and Goldmans greebling style are great ( read: fantastic) but they also lose a certain realism, especially in microscaleMOC's. Realistic greebling, that is: in my twisted world of fantasy, is done more justice to Technic fig scale. There!

The top.

It took me about 10 evenings of 4 straight hours building to get it done. It weighs 3,3 Kg, sorry don't know how many pounds that is... I added the tentacles (supposed to be tubes) and round parts at the end to take away some sharp edges on the ship. It gives the whole thing a more Organic/ Bionic look.

Thanks for looking and feel free to leave a comment!

Cool. Very busy. A kilo is 2.2 pounds. So that's about 7.26 pounds. Hefty. Knock a man out with that. So fun to look at and a self defensive tool. Double win. see ya. garth

Huh, that's funny cause the wings were one of my favorite parts. Kinda like they don't belong but they really do. In any case, I like it. ~ Chris.

I love all of the engine pieces along the middle of the "Greeble". It's certainly earned its name!

Weird... But cool, I guess. The technic dude IS weird. So is the new MOCpages. Well, it's about new years, so time to get around to building MOCRPG 1, I guess...

Hmmmmm..... HMMMMM.... After I got past the crazy technic pilot (never like those guys for some reason) and the sort of out of place wings and tentacles, I realized that it's a ship with extreme functionality all over the place! After staring at it for a while I really like it. The variable engines on the bottom are an especially nice touch. Cool, out of the ordinary ship Giovanni!
