AV-14 Hornet VTOL - Cargo and Maintenance variant [Tundra paint scheme]
A cargo and maintenance variant of the Hornet VTOL from Halo 3
About this creation

This VTOL is based off of a vehicle from the popular franchise Halo, more specifically from Halo 3. It features an added tow winch and a fuel probe. Also, the weapons and jump seats have been removed, as this is no longer an offensive military vehicle.

As you can see here, a full minifig does in fact fit inside the cockpit.

The jump seats have been replaced with a small framing to put cargo on.

A little treat for all you kiddies: A preview of my upcoming Halo diorama, which will feature the Hornet here.

This is better than what I could have done... although I'm into the Pelicans, Warthogs, and Scorpions than other vehicles, but as I've stated before I like it!

Um the skids helped control the flight of the hornet on halo 3 so taking them off not a good idea even so good moc. the engines are the best i've seen on a hornet

this is amazing. Did u come up with the idea, or is it one that u built into a lego? U should make a real hornet, or u should put some pictures of it dissassembled, so some people can make it. Take a look at my halo stuff and leave a review.

This is a great little variation on an interesting vehicle, I love the orange/white scheme too.

Quoting Kyle Bartley e. You should make a M*A*S*H style one.
Why would I ever do something stupid like that?

Hey! it's Chewk! You're one of my favorite builders on Flickr. I have a racing mech that was inspired by both your FX23 Ferrari Race Mecha, and Tekka Croe's Race mech (he's here also) Check it out if you get the chance. Keep on building ~ Nowhereman
