BrickArms
Even a self-described "purist" can have a little fun with BrickArms now and then.
About this creation
Like many kids, I shamelessly cut and painted my minifigs back when I was growing up. As an adult fan of LEGO, though, I considered myself a "purist" until I encountered the high-quality custom accessories made by fellow fans like Will Chapman of BrickArms. I still generally avoid hardcore customizations like painting, cutting, and decals, but I'm very much hooked on custom accessories.

SOCOM Operators
SOCOM operators with Mk48 Mod 0 SAW (with bipod), MP7 SMG, and flashbang grenade from BrickArms.

Defending Terra Nova

Water Fight
Will Chapman from BrickArms frequently makes prototypes in unusual colors.

good job on the figures. I use Brickarms all the time and have a whole array of grenades guns and knives in my collection. One question. where do you get those transparent golden guns (I don't think that is what it is called but that is what they made it into).

I love building with LEGO and really enjoy using BrickArms, but the latter really seems to bring out a rather immature crowd of commenters who don't understand basic Internet etiquette (or grammar, or spelling...), so this is a warning: The next person to ask a silly and/or illiterate question gets their comment deleted without a response.

I like how you recreated the soldiers to match the weapons and helmets. You should check out brickforge.com, they have more medieval custom equipment, but they have a more accurate swat shield.
