SWAT CITY is ready for anything. So many BAD guys, so many GUNS.
About this creation
I made this SWAT truck in the standard 6 wide first time around, but I find building in the 8 wide is my favorite and I can create more detail. The truck used approx 400 pce of LEGO, I never actually counted, maybe one day. I will post my SWAT CITY TEAM soon.
Nice front fender view.
Crazy Angle Photo. I think part of the MOC is built with SNOT building technics. It should be called SNOTOS, for Studs Not On Top Or Sides. Anyway, I like the smooth tile finish with NO studs showing except the odd light.
With time and patience, the open access design worked well.
A close look at the interior. I know, the use of BRICKARMS might upset some, but I just love how REAL they look.
Seats in the side wall for a quick and fast exit.
Drivers cockpit.
Drivers access.
Open the back door.......
......and they all come out the ramp.
The underside.

Nice vehicle! Love the lack of visible studs and detailed yet spacious interior. Would you do me the favor of looking at my Kelpie Jeep? |

Sir Walker, where does the body armor come from for your officers?
I just answered my own question! They are from Ninja sets, aren't they?
And of course you must be right, actually got 'em at BRICKLINK so tht wld be my guess. |

Your stuff is very playable. I love it. This looks like an "MRAP" for the city, a very dangerous city! Great design. BrickArms rock too! They are what every well armed LEGO police officer should carry.
I might RE-WORK this vehicle into a more FUTURISTIC look, but everyone seems to like it as is. |
