My entry for President John Moffat's UNE Building Contest.
About this creation
The TXI-130 and TXV-290 turrets, or "pod turrets", were first produced as a backup plan for UNE forces. If something was not going well, they would retreat and let these turrets hold off the C.O.P. But they proved much more effective than that. Now, these turrets defend almost every base, camp, or outpost in the UNE.
The TXI-130 Machinegun turret.
The two barrels of the TXI-130 can easily defend any location from infantry.
As you can see, the turret can swivel back and forth.
The TXV-290 Gauss Turret.
And the lower barrel of the TXV-290 is, a FLAMETHROWER!
The interior. There is no back wall, making it easier and faster to enter. This is the standard interior for both turrets.
Judging time...
Aesthetics: 8/10 The rotating part of the turret is more smooth and doesn't fit that well with the rest.
Color Scheme: 5/5 Nice job on the colors.
Creativity: 4/5 The overall design it rather simple.
Final total: 17/20
