Here is a replica of the Spearhead. Originaly it was build by the LEGO group together with other models to create a Comicstory. The comicstory was called Jim Spaceborn and part one has been published in 1986.
About this creation
I was and still am a fan of Jim spaceborn. As a kid I had a dream to build the spaceship he lives on. I fulfiled my dream 'only' 23 years later.
It took me a few months to build. Most of the time I was waiting for new bricks to arrive. I enjoyed building it very much.

The Spearhead is build using around 5400 LEGO bricks and it measures 117 x 56 cm. As soon as I have stickers with the right texture I can finish it perfectly.

The ship looks amazing in SNOT format, it must have been tricky to build it "sideways" like that. What magazine were you featured in?

I got the od Jim spaceborn 'new galaxi' comic, and when i was younger the spearhead amazed me! Thank you for makeing this, EPIC SUCESS!
