Did Jesus die for this?
About this creation
Built for a vignette contest at IndyLUG, the scene contrasts the comforts of the lower fig with the suffering of the upper one. I ask myself, "Did Jesus die for my comfort?"

I understand the message.
I don't believe in jesus and 'god',
And for the others: you must know that you can't fight because you have an other religion.

Super Guy and t, I don't think you get the message of this vignette. It is intended to be a reminder that Jesus died not for my comfort, but for my salvation. It is meant to be a disturbing image. It is meant to disturb me out of my comfort zone. |

Jesus did die for the comfort of knowing you have the abiltiy to accept him as your savior and live eternally with him. Excellent message portrayed in lego. And guy at the bottom: He did die willingly. The night before he was betrayed he prayed "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done." This means, if it was to pass it would've. But it did not, and he chose the right thing to do.
