For those of you who also operate your LEGOs on flickr.com, you may remember a car that my buddy
Thomas Nuņez made using wheels with adjustable camber (a wheel's vertical angle). After making this car he brought up the idea of making the DeLorean DMC-12 time machine from the movie Back to the Future. I hope I don't make him mad by "stealing" the idea, but that aside, I think this one turned out pretty well. Tell me what you think! I tried as hard as I could to make it as accurate as possible for 6-wide scale!
About this creation
Back view. There needs to be some more detail and also I need to find a better way to make the rear thrusters.
Side view. Doesn't look right towards the back, but atleast I tried...
Gull wing doors! Because it wouldn't be a DeLorean without 'em!
Hey look! Theere's even room to put an interior...sort of!
This is where Thomas' design comes into play, the hover wheels! This is one of the more defining features from the movie car.
Back view with hover wheels. I plan to make a diorama for this in the near future, maybe even the clock tower scene!

There are of lot of Deloreans out there in the Mocpages abyss, this is a good interprtation but I'm sure you''ll agree with me that this isn't the best (i.e. color is wrong, etc)Anyways thx for joining my group! |
