About this creation
Built for the SCI-LUG 14x14 starfighter contest over on flickr. The idea is to build a starfighter that is no bigger than 14x14 studs wide or long and not more than 5 bricks high. The last two pics demonstrate the compliance to the contest guidelines.
This thing was a blast to build, and a fun challenge to figure out how to get it all to fold down and fit within a 14x14stud x 5 brick high area. It’s smaller than it sounds... The contest runs through the end of the month, so if anyone wants to give it a try, follow the link above, read the rules, and have at it!

Very nice fighter! I like the green, and the use of stickers is inspired. I like the torso using the Exo Force foot sticker. ^Blub^ |

This has gotta be one of my favorite racers ever. The use of the sea-monster heads is brilliant and the way they fold out is genius. Really a fantabulistic creation! Keep on building ~ Nowhereman |

Very original AND very cool. The combined impact of the rare color and the unorthodox use of the parts results in a fighter that doesn't remind me of anything I have seen before. I like the pics of it tucked up in the box. Attack! |

Right on then! I'm expecting some great mechs from you! PS: I'd love to see you try out Izzo style mecha and Armored Core mecha. Armored Core and Izzo style are now my main mech-making style. I like how they are just the right size for my lack of parts, but use so much detail that they look like anime toys and model kits. I'd love to see how realistic yours would come out. ~Ping Phong |

One of the best and most flawlessly executed designs I've seen under 50 studs- I'm nuts about this ship. The subtlety of the form is perfect, and the folding mechanism is completely original. I'm in awe :D good work! |
