Thank you for checking out my creation! I made this Exploriens themed starship as part of a series of 3 microscale starships I made. The other 2 were a Blacktron destroyer and a 3vil (Space Skulls) battleship. The design for this ship began with trying to build around the white windshild pieces from the Exo-Force Aero Booster set. I chose the Exploriens theme because of the white pieces...and I always thought they had a cool logo! But I concede the Exploriens probably wouldn't have all the weapons I put on this. Although I don't have pictures I ended up retrofitting this later with Star Justice stickers where the Exploriens logo pieces were.
The scale of this ship is comparable to a Miranda Class starship from Star Trek (like the USS Reliant from Wrath of Khan). The engines are particlarly robust. I wanted to convey a sense of power and independence for exploring the deep reaches of space. However, I got a bit sidetracked on the weaponry although I built with the idea of weapons being used for defense only. In fact, the big difference with this and the other capital ships I made is it is not designed around a powerful primary weapon. I think the use of white lends itself to a more elegant, graceful design. So I tried to keep the lines smooth and simple.
I am in love with your engines! There, I admit it. You have successfully stepped away from the Bronze Age idea of tires-for-engines, and have conquered the Age of Steel idea, transparent pieces for engines.
All of your ships are great, and this one is no exception! The long, white, graceful shape looks full and smooth. The blue cockpit and engines are a nice touch, and the cannons look defensive, but powerful enough to hold their own against other shipe. The missle bay is impressive for an Exploriens ship.
