About this creation
This is a TIE Fighter I made for the Star Wars Weekend at Legoland California on April 30-May 1, 2005. The wings are 15 inches tall and the cockpit ball is twenty studs in diameter. I will add the cockpit details and a pilot soon. This model is slightly larger than miniland scale (I estimate).

Here's the half-scale version I made first. I wasn't sure how big I could go with my wing design.

Nice job! Apparently, the TIE fighters were supposed to be blue like the lego sets have, but blue screen technology rendered them invisible! So they were changed to grey. Also: I dig the screenshot from Empire at War. |
