The Godfather
About this creation

"I'll make him an offer he can't refuse."

Luca Brasi sleeps with the fishes.

It's been a while since I've done cinematic Lego photography, but this is the first serious project. Lighting is done in the style of Alex Elar, inspired by The Godfather Movie and Charlie co.'s Mafia story: www.flickr.com/photos/soldierof1945/.

Possibly more to come.

Quoting Steffen Kasteleiner This is again an artworks in lighting your pictures! I would really like to learn how make poctures look like that... Do you use a normal digital camera, BTW, or is a more advanced one (mirror-reflex camera or however it's called in English)? Thanks for sharing the pics with us! Best regards, Steffen
Thanks!, I actually use a mirror-reflex camera, or a DSLR, but all you need is a good lamp and props for good-quality pictures.

Looks like you've completely nailed the look of your inspiration -- both Alex's cinematic lighting photos and the movie. Very well done!
