Futuron Administration Complex
This building belongs to the most important installations in the Futuron base.
About this creation
This is Futuron's administration building which registers all the citizens and vehicles that are assigned to the base, no matter whether they're Futuron, M-Tron or whatever.

When seen from the front, on the right-hand side the building houses a big two-storey office. It contains several computer terminals as well as a big viewscreen which can be used to display some information of common interest.

If you have an appointment at the administration complex, you can contact the crewman in the observation turret and he or she will spot the current location of your vehicle, assign a parking lot and notify the appropriate crewman in time.

The left part of the building has two storeys; the lower storey contains another office with terminals, the upper one is a recreation room for the crew.

Initially, I wanted to create a whole building only with the classic space window parts. However, it then seemed a bit too boring, so I altered the top storey on the left side. Also, the observation room uses a different design. You might want to think of it as an extension to the building which was added at a later time by another architect (or simply because standard elements of a different design were already on storage).

The design of the elevator was rather directly copied from the scanned instructions of 6394 on Peeron.

The glider was inspired by 6115.

Note that the interior of the recreation room resembles somewhat that of the first classic space stations like 926.

How do you get this LDRAW (I think)? It looks very interesting. I like how you combined color of classic space and some modern-ish Futuron stuff. Very nice!
