Quoting Brad Edmondson Un-dirty-word-believable! You are the shizzle. Brilliant mind for design, I can learn a lot from your builds.
Thanks! I never did make another Mech Bay quite like this one. It is currently on display at Dan's Toy and Plastic Brick Museum in Ohio.

Quoting JD Luse Wow, the new design looks just as good! Did Dan's Toy Museum pay for you to make that? Or did you donate it? It's quite amazing. =)
Welllll, actually, I made it for sale so I could pay for my Lego work studio. A buyer purchased it on a website that used to be called AuctionBrick.com. I thought I would never see it again. Then one day Dan (the Owner of the museum) contacted me and said he had the Bay. (it was loaned/given/donated - not sure) He wanted to let me know he was fixing it and preparing the bay for display. That's how I learned about it. So now that it is installed, I have to take the Drive to Ohio from NJ to see it again. I look forward to that. From what I understand, there are many impressive models there from other builders. Pretty cool!

Quoting JD Luse That has got to be my favorite mech bay ever. I love those light and dark bley twists going up near the top of the bright red pillars, and the ceiling is just as amazing. I think that the bar behind his head could use some smooth tiles, but overall you did a masterful job. Well done! =)
Thank you kindly, Mech Bay 09 is a big bay! I would like to make a trip to see it at Dan's Toy Museum. I actually ended up changing the upper colum accents to look like this: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1571469
