About this creation

I present to you the Alien Moon Base!

The whole MOC.

Back shot! That blue wall is there to stop the light from coming through the back.

Pretty cool. The rocks look great. If there was an interior, that would be great. I have just one question. How do you get your creations to move across the page. And how do you get counters? Please respond, that would be a big help!

Great idea - you did the rocks really well, I might have to look at this for my Omaha beach cliff.

Quoting Andrew Knox Cool! Are you proposing that the Martians colonized the moon before humans?
No. Wait. When did we colonize the moon? :)

Quoting JD Luse Thanks for the comment! As for which pieces to buy for a castle, it looks like you've got it covered with all those slopes. =) Actually, I'd focus on arches, plain old bricks, and 1x1 cylinders. Just go look at any good castle and pick out the most used pieces. That's what I did.
Thanks for your help! But, what you're looking at here is all light grey. I could use none of these in a castle. That's why I'm planning on buying a bunch of light bley pieces. I only have about 20 of them.

Very nice work! Like the "randomness" feeling from the rock face - it looks very natural. Although perhaps some cheese slopes would help cover some (but not all) of the exposed studs. Keep up the good work!

Thanks! I would've liked to use cheese slopes, but I don't have that many. Also, all the rock pieces are the original light grey and lego only makes light bley now.
