My first eleven-wide and my first bricked in model. Started with the fenders, and built off them.
About this creation
I started building this off the fenders, because I thought they were cool. 11 wide was the only size that would be proportionate to fit the fenders, soooooooo, behold, my first odd-stud-wide car. Also, I did something else new: completely bricked in. Waaaaaaaaaaay easier than putting interior on it, but I didn't know that and had to try. So welcome to 'Squatty', and please comment.
Radical! Looking at this again, I think you must have inspired me to build my blue truck! I originally wanted to make a blue car, but didn't have enough blue curved slopes (those things are rare!).
Cool! Blue isn't a very popular color to build in, but I think its a great choice for this build. Congratulations on your first odd-wide car. They often do have a more proportionate look when finished but can be a lot more difficult to build. I'd go over to the Rod Club and see if they'll let you join with this. My only complaint is that there are a lot of studs showing, but if you don't have blue tiles, its ok. Nice work. Peace - Patrick
