Modified version of 4953 flyer to fit a minifig into.
About this creation
This is a slightly enlarged version of 4953, with the space to fit a pilot minifig.
I worked mainly on the cockpit, when I used one of the newest windscreens and some SNOT to leave enough space for the pilot. To compensate for the larger size of the cockpit, I increased of 1 stud the length of the wings and of the rear part of the plane. This increase is not very noticeable, but gives a better sense of proportion to the model.
shame about not using only bits from the set, but hey i'm not one to talk. check out some of my alternatives from this set, they may give you some cool ideas.
Thanks Steffen! However, the intakes are from the original set. I changed only the cockpit and made some minor changes to the rest of the model to slightly increase the size.
Looks really good, especially with that cockpit! Its size being rather small, it could be a jet trainer or so... The intakes are also an awesome solution - you did that right? Cause I donīt think the original had any intakes. They look really sleek - nice! Love how the cockpit looks on your fighter... Best regards, Steffen
