Here is my tallest 1:200 scale model. It is roughly 16'-8" tall and has 50,000 clear 1x1 cylinders alone. It is made up of 12 sections. The design took me 3 weeks, figuring out the parts needed 1 week, study sections & scale models 4 weeks, construction 6 weeks. All of the parts were bought on BL.
I do not use computers or AuotCAD in laying out my Architectural Sculptures, simply scratch build from reference photos and my own artistic interpretation.
I think I saw this online somwehere showing it on display in Dubai a while back. have got to commend you on maintaining the same scale as your other buildings when building this one. I have struggled with that concept myself, haivng built TaiPei 101 first, measuring in at about 5 and a half feet tall. My second bldg was the Hong Kong Bank of China, which was on almost the same scale, it did come in a few inches taller than it should have. Now that I am working on my 3rd skyscraper, I had to abandon the same scale since I scaled it off of a particular brick.
Anyway, enough about me.
Kudo, and ince again, 5 Red Giants to you.
