About this creation
Well, it was about time I made a space creation.
I'd like to dedicate this creation to a friend of mine: Martin, who has given his whole LEGO collection to my brothers and me.
Hvala, Martine.
The story goes:
This fighter is not just an ordinary space fighter. It has been adapted for planetary conditions (gravity, weather, etc.). As You've probably noticed it has these strange oval intakes on it's wings. Those are the intakes for hovering engines. Therefore there was no need for developing landing gear. The ship simply hovers over land. It is equipped with 3 weapons (dual machine guns in front of the cockpit, dual laser cannons on the right wing and single plasma cannon on the left wing) and 4 engines (2 for high speed and two for hovering/landing mentioned above).
Parked in mid-air and wasting a whole lot of gas.
The pilot and how he enters the cockpit.
The small hatches open to reveal machinery for calibrating the hovering engines. If You think those should be in the cockpit, You're right. But this looks cool doesn't it? :)
The small holes (a pair on each wing) are for the weapons waste disposal. The really large ones are for hovering engines waste and cockpit waste disposal. When someone is on Your tail, You simply release the waste which automatically catches fire from the engines and leaves a cloud of fire for Your tail to fly into, giving You enough time for a speedy maneuver and taking advantage.
These guns in the middle would in a game be primary weapon. The red thing is for refueling with... some larger ship. Notice the cockpit ventilation intakes.
These guns would in a game be secondary weapons. The plasma cannon on the left wing would be special weapon. Also notice the hovering engines and their cooling intakes.
Cozy in the cockpit. Notice the almost-hidden cockpit ventilation outtakes.
And now, some more pictures!
Thank You!
UPDATE 12th January 2011:
OMG! Just realized this is a Vic Viper! Hahaha...

whats with all the 'SNOT's
great MOC
Thank You. The 'SNOT's are a joke because of all the snot work I did on the MOC. You see, one 'SNOT' is replaced with a 'SPACE' - that's a joke about this being my first ever Space MOC. |
