Black & red hot rod with a massive engine.
About this creation
Using my newest engine creation from the reloaded '55 Chevy, I built this hot rod. I wanted to make this one a bit meaner than my first few ones. The longer cabin and overhanging roof certainly helped, along with the fatter front tires. I'm really proud of how the exhaust pipes turned out, they just look really cool in my opinion. The pirate skull hood emblem on the cooler completes the image, along with the black artwork on the sides. Note how I also tried to do some more agressive bodywork with the slope pieces behind the engine, way at the back, and around the side windows.
All in all, I'm quite proud of how this creation turned out, and consider it my best hot rod to date. As usual, enjoy the pics, and please leave a review so I know what you guys think about my newest creation.

Actually, I didn't have a car in mind. In fact, I'll let you pick the car. This will be fun! Lets get some judges and do it. |

I've never said this before, but that is sick, in a complimentary way. Good luck for the rod club's ROTM! |

Wow, how do you see out of the window?! Speaking of, it really needs a rear window. Anyway, you are the worlds best engine builder, that thing is craziness. |

Oh, wow. Just wow. You have a thing with these engines the size of titanic - uh, neptune?
hehe, i guess so... i dunno, i just see it like this: why put a small engine in a car if it'll fit a big one? :D |

A 5/5 creation, and I agree; your best yet. The engine is brilliantly ridiculous, and yet quite realistic too. I really like the door graphics. Very simple but also very effective in reducing the expanses of plain red. My only criticism is the rear, which is just that, an expanse of plain red. If this Rod is used on the road it would need rear lights/number plate etc, if it's for the strip you could add a parachute pack and/or wheelie bar. Other than the bland rear however, this is a top notch creation- one of the best medium scale Rods I've ever seen on MOCpages!! : ) |
