Welcome to the zoo of Kennemerburg. This pretty old zoo was founded in 1843.
This is the zoo gate, where our adventure begins.
"Two tickets, please"
Monkey business! This contains an island and an indoor enclosure for the monkeys.
"Feeding time!" Bananas of course!
"Now it's time for us to eat" lets go for a snack.
Let's have a closer look: Hmm... Looking tasty.
"What's in those glass boxes?" You can get a view of the insects in there!
Here you see our special pump system that supplies all of the exhibits with water. There also is a little duck, not a zoo animal but though it's cute........
This is the most smelly part of our zoo. The recycling center. (Not accessible for visitors)
The owl cage. "Rats for feeding purposes are being breed under here."
Our precious polar bear Frostie with it's arctic cave.
The water bassin of the bear, also contains a tire for playing
A closer look at Frosties head.
Even if you're in a wheelchair, our zoo is fully accessible!!
"Now let's continue". This is Steve, our crocodile. (Yes I mean Steve Irwin).
The leaves are fake and contain heat lamps.
Here's an overview of the exhibit of the zebras, the oldest building in our zoo.
Another look at our striped friends.
Two of them eating from a hay bale.
"This is the end of our tour, I hope you enjoyed it."
