Look and be amazed! For you have the honor and misfortune of facing; THE MIGHTY GURREN LAGANN!!!
About this creation
Alright, let's cut to the chase! I'm too lazy to re-write a background for Gurren Lagann so sit tight whilst I repeat the story of this world's coolest robot:
AHEM: Gurren Lagann is a mech called a "Ganmen" (or Gunman depending on what side of the earth you live on). It way created by the merging of two other mechs: Gurren and Lagann (simple right?). It's piloted by Simon the Digger and his "bro" (Kamina) Aniki, who is later replaced by a guy named Rossiu, and finally replaced by Simon's nemesis, Viral. Gurren Lagann is powered by Simon's "drill key", a small artifact imbued with "spiral energy". This is the source of Gurren Lagann's awesome power. Gurren Lagann also has the special ability to merge and control any vehicle it attaches to, making it a very lethal weapon.
Now that we got that out of the way, DEV NOTE TIME!!!
After much discussion (not really) with my good buddy and fellow TTGL fan, Phong Chang, I realized that a full (not really) sized GL would be nigh impossible! (AT THE TIME BIENG) So, drawing a lot of inspirations (and special thanks for getting me hooked in the first place) from Phong's half revoltech-half "quark fig" TTGL mechs, I clobbered together this little gem from big GL's parts. And lemme tell ya, it turned out much cooler than I had first anticipated...
Now, you all know how I like to say "there's always room for improvement". AND THERE IS!! This is only Version one! And if it sucks, that's okay! I want you to tell me what can be improved! I'm always open to suggestions, so don't be afraid to let me know!
Hey, It was fun talking with you. I bet you've noticed by how obnoxious Jin-jiro was, that he was excited to see me. Sorry how he kept interrupting. He's usually really cool. He'll get you on anime conversations lasting for hours. He's a fun guy to talk to. BTW: Who's your favorite character on TTGL? Mine is Simon. Kamina's almost equal, but Simon got a lot more epic towards the middle and end. I love how he had the Burst Spinning Punch with AGL, the Chouginga Giga Drill Breaker with CGL, but I wish he woulda finished the Anti-Spirals off with a Tengen Toppa Giga Drill Breaker with TTGL, but of coures, that would have caused our heads to explode due to an overdose of pure Awesomeness, Manliness, and EPICness!!! (The universe would also suffer the same destruction.)
What happens in TTGL can be possible! The show opens your eyes with an epic method! It shows that ANYTHING truly is possible. Scientists may say that a galaxy sized mech, able to move faster than light, powered by fighting spirit is impossible, but they simply haven't discovered the technology. Just because they haven't seen something, doesn't mean it isn't there. There is speeds faster than light. Speed is infinate. Since the outside of a wheel spins faster than the inside, if the inside span at light speed, it would force the outside to go faster. Scientists just haven't discovered material that's able to withstand/control that pressure, so this can't be tested. (TTGL moves much faster than light speed because his shere size is so big that one step moves billions of lightyears. Since one step takes so little time for him, his foot is moving faster than light--by far! Also, If scientists can moniter brainwaves using lie detectors, why not have an upgraded technology that takes positive brainwaves and turns them into raw energy. The material that TTGL uses can have some super expanding property allowing it to reach that size. Evn though nothings impossible, if scientists say it is, simply quote Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann and say, "Go beyond impossible, and kick reason to the curb!"
Aw, you watched the English version didn't you? Trust me it's a lot better in Japanese with English subs. It's actually supposed to be Giga Drill Breaker, not Break. Break doesn't sound complete. In Japanese the speeches are more epic, the translation through subs is better, there's one part where Yoko's top almost comes....oh wait, forget I said that. To find the Japanese versoin, go to Mega Video.com and look them up. Much better quality than YouTube.
