a working micro automatic crossbow (MAC), inspired by the one by xubor (youtube).
About this creation
this is a very small, magazine fed crossbow. i built it after watching xubor's video on youtube, but the actual mechanism is entirely my own (i only copied the idea, not the mechanism).

there is a video here if you dont understand the stuff below

the mechanism basically works by having the 14 1x4 bricks stored in the grip. when you cock it, some catches pull back the rubber band, and when the slide reaches the end, a bullet is forced up into the chamber, in front of the band. this means that when you push the slide forward again, the band catches on the bullet, which then locks onto a protruding piece in the barrel. when you pull the trigger, this protruding piece is removed, and so the bullet can be fired.
because of the size of the chamber, it is also possible to cock the gun twice, and get 2 rounds firing at once! (see video for details).

its a simple gun, with a simple mechanism, so doesnt jam very often, which is useful.

one other feature is that the 'wings' of the crossbow can fold in to make it thinner - good for concealing

Very clever! I see how everything in that works. When the slide is pulled back, there is a sector in the back of the gun that blocks the bullets from coming in. So when the slide comes in, it pushes the back the sector allowing a bullet to come in. Then the sector pushes the next bullet into a chamber until the slide comes back again to push the sector back so the other bullets in the slide can push the bullet in the chamber into the shaft. And then this whole mechanism repeats its self until you run out of bullets. Check out my Thriller Compact. It's more complex than this but yours does exactly the same thing.
