.357 Magnum caliber pistol with cocking and slide mechanisms.
About this creation
The famous Desert Eagle .357 (.50) caliber pistol, or Night Hawk as it is known to players of Counterstrike. Sleek, shiny, immensely powerful - except it's plastic and covered in studs and when the bullet gets out of the barrel it drops almost straight down. Which is better than my CAR-15 - those bullets never left the barrel. This pistol does have some new technology on it, though. It uses a hammer to fire, which has to be cocked before the bullet is loaded. Then the slide is pulled back, a bullet is inserted and the slide is closed again.
Perhaps some people will notice that the slide is too long. The vertical plates should not move back with it. That was corrected in two later versions, but I wasn't happy with the overall size and shape of them or with the fact that they had no better features on them than this one. I didn't bother photographing them. Too late now, they've been taken apart, so please don't ask to see them.
PS.
I've been inundated with requests for instructions recently. Sorry, but not only do I not have time to make instructions, but also the models have usually been dismantled by the time people ask.

The slide pulled back. It is prevented from going back any further than that.

Without the slide, exposing the workings of the gun. The hammer is the black bit, which shoots forward when the trigger is pulled, hitting the bullet.

When the gun is cocked, it pulls the hammer back into position.

I made mine slightly diffrent(Neverminding its "Colorfullness") because of thr fact that I did not have the 1X24 peice and I made the sliding motion work slightly diffrent (which envolved removing the hammer peices) and its only really for show and pretend now.. I might post it later to show you would you mind? |

Well firstly the slide is too big, and secondly the dimensions are exactly correct to the actual desert eagle. Any way good job. |
