or, how I built the bunk beds and missiles.
About this creation
I didn't take a lot of pictures during construction, but essentially I took the design of the floorplan laid out in Part 3 and built it up into Bunks and lockers for 8 people. There are also six strategic warhead, 2 of 3 types.

Missiles are Red November Missiles (red stripe), Karimov Missiles (blue stripe), and Trans-Fusion Missiles (dark grey cone).

The problem with these bunks is that, like on a submarine, they are very close together and only really viewable from a minifig perspective. Hopefully you can see I used blue and white tiles to make it look like tucked in sheets. I try for the detail.

Now is the time I realize I haven't planned any room for a bathroom or mess hall. The issue with SHIP building is really how much extra room people need for stuff. Aside from workstations, you need sleeping quarters, bathrooms, mess hall (galley), and probably some sort of recreation. And that doesn't mention anything about a shuttle, escape pods, or a real engine room.

Well, I still have some more ship to go, maybe I'll add a bathroom then.

length is now 61 studs exactly.

try to see the underneith bunks. otherwise it is best to go to brickfest to see it in person.

here's some thought about how to finish off the escape pod ports.

structural problem. in the middle is a relatively sparce escape pod port. if I continue with some sort of fix, this will be a major problem. at this point i think i'm just SOL.
