El Aguila: a dropship
Dropship
About this creation
A new dropship. What more can I say? Well I guess I could say that I got tired of uninspired names in english, so I moved instead to spanish. It means "The Eagle"

Behind.

Large rotary cannon.

The little blue light thingie is an optics suite that swivels up and down. It's a 1x1 technic brick with 1x1 round plates in either side of the hole. This is then put into a string reel holder.

Engines. Four of them.

top

bottom

undergreeb

Hatch dropped and VTOL engines.

Unloading. The fifty cal under the nose protects troops as they exit.

I agree with Michael, excellent style you've developed, Chief! Really solid and heavy looking. That windshield design is quite clever!

Right on! I like the style you have developed. Up-armored, solid canopies, blay to the bone...It's a really good look. The over all shape of the Aguila rimindes me of the ship form Firefly. Was that the insperation? The chin gun is cool. Attack!

Wow. All your military creation have this extremely armored look about them...

Quoting Owen Williams Lol really nice dude I like it! btw is your symbol from Equilibrium?
I just kind of doodled it one day, and kept developing it until it looked pretty cool. So, I guess the answer is no because I don't know what Equilibrium is. I'd be interested in knowing, though.

This caught my eye due to how rugged it looks. The way you made a lot of these connections really had me looking close! Good work.

Quoting vladtron dracul This thing is one motha of a mover! it looks really agile! Great studless design! but be honest, does it actually fit a pilot and troopers???
Yeah, sorry guys. I at first forgot to take pictures of the cockpit. So I went back to take some of the pilot and deconstruction of the cockpit. But now I can't find my camera.

Quoting Captain Dexter Lawrence Simply great, I'm in love these engines! Good shape and better color scheme! awesome. ps. El ┴guila is written with ┴ and it's a good name, I'm spanish btw)
Thanks for the comment. I actually knew that, but I don't know how to do accents. I don't type in Spanish very often.

The color blocking around the nose is my favorite part -- it gives the appearance of a cockpit without sacrificing armor. The heavy gatling gun is well built, as are the engines. Great job!

Cool dropship. I like how it's only gray, and the Spanish name is a little more interesting. Does it open for the pilot?
