Chateau-Betancourt
A castle I made for my wife in November, shortly after our wedding. The castle was named after her father's french ancestors.
About this creation
This castle consists of pure 100% Old light and dark gray colors. Future MOC's will include light bluish and dark bluish gray colors as they are much cheaper and easier to find! Although, I am not saying I will never again use the classic gray colors.

The castle started out as a huge rocky layout. After that, the blue prints and drawings were made for the actual buildings and architecture. Some cool features include:

-Rocky terrain, narrow pathways

-Secret underground entrance to the Keep.

-Maiden (Bride's) balcony.

-Bedroom suite with library stand, bed stand, wardrobe, and more.

-3 story tower building with interiors, including chairs and supper table.

-Plants, trees, and animals!

Building this MOC was alot of fun! Take a look and let me know what you think. For more pictures you can search my files on brickshelf.com, search Dan82. Thanks,

Dan

Front view, includes the main entrance of the castle, along with a dangerous, and narrow pathway.

Side view of the castle, includes landscaping, fences, peasants/workers.

Maiden's balcony of the bedroom suite. I realize you can't really see her two white kittens in this pic.

More of the pathway shown here, along with the trees.

Back view of the castle.

A forestman is trying to make a deal with a peasant, but didn't expect him to pull out a knife when he tried ripping him off. Another foresman enters the scene eating his favorite medieval meal.

The top floor of the tower. This room includes a table for food and drinks, also has chairs, and seats.

A greedy peasant sits and counts his money.

The bedroom suite is limited to the owner and his lady. Includes a king size bed, cabinets, book stand, and more...

Another side view of the landsaping. This MOC included well over 10,000 pieces, and many, many trips to bricklink.

Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think. There will be more castle creations soon!
