Columbus,Ohio Train Show. PHOTO'S were taken during setup and 2 days of display. The water scene was different for day 2 so look close to notice the difference. The Miracle on the Hudson. The scene was my concept and the boats and plane from collection.

About this creation

This basic layout uses the standard base plate for a grid system. The layout is 20' wide x 30' long and uses 32 tables.

This layout gives the basic description of what goes where, but details are made up as we do setup, its more fun that way. It took 8 to 10 people 7 hours to set this up.

All the blue baseplates are from 2 other club members, who got them before they were discontinued. I personally only have 4.

Hi, Thomas, thanks for the comments. I built two new boats just for this display. When I get time I'll create some new folders of them and post in our groups.

I always love loking at huge lego displays, The way they seamlessly integrate landscape with urban structures, and all the little details and scenes, I love it. You even have your plane crash in there, I wish I could see it in person.
