Cap'n Dreadbeard's adventures in his yellow submarine...
The first in a (hopefully) series of underwater vignettes of a humorous nature, starring the fearsome Cap'n Dreadbeard and his equally 'fearsome' yellow submarine...
About this creation

Arrrr! We're finally off... off ta go exploring of sorts, see what I can see yonder through mine round porthole! To the depths of the sea, or till I be covered in barnacles.
Yes matey, managed to cast off this fine mornin, and got myself a crew of sorts, with a bit of 'persuasion'. Don't seem to like that this fine lady's yellow, do they? Say it's "not good for our image as pirates" for some reason... they're a strange crusty lot.

Came upon a strange wreck sunk into the seabed... was looking familiar, when I noticed my long deceased Uncle Seabeard (no pun intended) still clinging to the wheel. Yarr, ever faithful he is!

to be continued...

Construction notes: Well, this is my first try at a vignette, can't remember what inspired me to think of such a crazy idea... pirates in a yellow submarine, I just love the irony of it!
I particularly like the way the submarine turned out, given that it's so small. The periscope rotates, of course! It was quite a challenge trying to 'sink' the shipwreck into the seabed, I'm still not entirely happy with it... hopefully I'll be able to continue this series, if I can think of some whacky (and feasible piece-wise) places for the Cap'n to visit!

Now isn't that the cutest yellow submarine you ever did see? :)

Anyway, thanks for looking!
See ya

Everybody now...'We all live in a yellow submarine, yellow submarine, yellow submarine!' If you were ever wondering what the song meant, it just meant that Ringo's acid shipment came in. LOL Fantastic mini sub.~H
