Confederate Ship Urashima, a general purpose freighter
About this creation
Confederate Ship Urashima. Urashima as in Keitaro Urashima. If you are an Otaku, or are interested in Anime/Manga in any way whatsoever, you will probably know who the ship is named after.

The Urashima is a multi-purpose spacecraft making use of two very special pieces, the 30156px1 Panel 4 x 6 x 6 Sloped with Rock Pattern and the 30353 Electric Brick 6 x 10 x 4 & 2/3 with Ltand Sound. As far as I know, she is the only MOC I have seen that uses the 30353 Electric Brick 6 x 10 x 4 & 2/3 with Ltand Sound and the only Space MOC I have seen that uses the 30156px1 Panel 4 x 6 x 6 Sloped with Rock Pattern.

Build time for the ship was approximately 6 hours. Construction is relatively simple, the only SNOT being in the nose and a bit on the tail. She measures about 70 Studs in her bulk freighter configuration and about 100 studs in her passenger configuration.

Considering her two configurations, the Urashima is also modular, the nose and tail being held on by three technic pins.

That 30353 Electric Brick 6 x 10 x 4 & 2/3 with Ltand Sound does not actually work, for reasons that I have yet to discover.

Deep links:

Entire ship

Bow unit

(As you can tell, an R5 unit was most tragically beheaded to make that sensor array.)

Stern unit

(Since the 30353 Electric Brick 6 x 10 x 4 & 2/3 with Ltand Sound does not work, I didn't find any reason to keep the buttons exposed.)

Passenger configuration

(With a hull like that, you'd assume everyone could get a window seat. You can also see the pins in the bulk freight unit.)

Lol
