Audi R8 TDI Le Mans . Here's my new creation, features a German beauty; the Audi R8 (TDI) concept, one of my favorite cars, and one of my dream cars as well! I love this car, so I tried my best on building it, hope I did good, and hope you to like it...
Thanks for visiting my page. . Audi R8 TDI Le Mans:
Audi R8 is a mid-engined sports car released by the German automaker Audi in 2006. Audi announced in 2005 that the name of the successful Audi R8 race car would be used for a new road car in 2007, the Audi R8, based on the Audi Le Mans Quattro concept car, which appeared at the 2003 Geneva Auto Show and 2003 International Motor Show. The R8 was officially launched at the Paris Auto Show on 30 September 2006. There is some confusion with the name which the car shares with the Le Mans winning R8 LMP. Originally, many thought the car would be called the R9 (as there is a gap in numbering left when Audi announced the R8's successor, the diesel-powered R10).
Using a newly developed twin-turbo 6.0-litre 12-cylinder diesel engine, the V12 TDI is based on the standard Audi R8 but proves the point that diesel doesn’t always mean slow. With 373kW and 1,000 Nm of torque this supercar goes from 0-100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds. Using two turbochargers (which generate up to 2.6 bar of boost pressure), peak torque is not only enormous but also effortless, coming on at just 1,750 rpm to 3,000 rpm. As for the 368 kW, the diesel achieves a specific output of 62.0 kW per litre displacement.
The actual engine design is relatively similar to other turbo diesels from Audi. Two large intercoolers are used to reduce the temperature of the compressed air, connected to a twin-pipe exhaust system with two particulate filters.
If you’re still of the school of though that diesels are dirty, it’s time to wake up. This Audi R8 V12 TDI concept can already fulfill the Euro 6 emissions standard while most supercars struggle to meet Euro 5.
Audi has ensured this V12 doesn’t sound like a truck, the company says the engine is full-bodied and equipped with energetic overtones to guarantee an exciting sound.
Let's start with some shots of the front...
My favorite part at the front is the headlights with that huge grill in the middle...
do you like the head lights, you want to know how I made it!?
Then you have to wait till I pop-up the trunk ;)
My favorite part was the (famous) black air intakes at the side of the R8… with the gas door (or whatever it called) on the middle of it…
Her's the back... nice, wide and curvy...
Please notice the rear spoiler...
Some shots from the top...
Please notice the Panoramic glass sunroof...
The Functional Elements:
Here're some shots of the functional elements in my Model... every thing's open.
By the way it was some kind of a hard job to make the door looks nice from the inside and the outside, but I think it turned out good (well, hope so).
Let's start with the trunk… and by the way; here's how I made the headlights..

A couple of pictures with the roof off for better vision:
The Audi R8 V12 TDI concept is the first 12-cylinder diesel engine to find its way into a high-performance roadgoing sports car. Until now diesel engines have offered a poor ratio when it comes to power output vs. weight, so while they’re ideal for a massive ocean-going freighter, they’re not so great for a high-performance supercar.
Not surprisingly the V12 TDI engine in the R8 is closely related to the engine used in the company’s Le Mans winning R10, with a few modifications made to improve the center-of-gravity, as well as making it fit into the narrower engine compartment of the roadgoing R8. What you end up with is a 0 to 60 time of 4.2 seconds, a top speed of about 186mph and 738 lb-ft of torque.

Goodbye Image :)
Hope you liked it, thanks for looking.
Also thanks a lot for my friend Patrick Chambers for his help on this one specially at the roof :)
